Each Keychain features a picture of the state, the Pamplin Park Logo and the number of soldiers who served and died from that state during The Civil War on the back.

The Union states feature the 35 star US Flag as the background.
The Confederate States features the Confederate Battle Flag.
Maryland which was considered a border state has part of both flags.
